I started tying flies out of curiosity, but it quickly became something I needed. It’s a way for me to slow down and focus, and over time it’s become a big part of how I stay connected to fishing. I tie simple, durable patterns that I actually fish, and I enjoy seeing how they move in the water and how fish react to them.

I started tying flys out of need growing up there was not any fly shops around. I started reading all the books and magazines about fly tying I could find. and 12 years later it has turned into a way of reflecting myself into what I call artwork. I love Seeing me patterns and designs in the water and see how they swim and move. And watching big ole fish eat them.
